a few more petty, newbie questions.

thanks, but i have no other sources for info regarding these small problems that i am having.

i bought a mpc on ebay that turned out to be other than what the seller said. the pads are dead, but i figured that out already.

another problem that concerns me is that when the sequence is playing, the cursor blinks like crazy bouncing from the program field that says "DRUM" and the sequence field. Is this indicative of a bigger problem? Should i invest money into it or is it a lost cause?

Also, I sampled something, and was not able to use the q-sliders to alter it (as the manual says).

any info would be greatly appreciated.

the blinking black square is just indicating that the track is being used. if you notice that when a sample is triggered on that track, the light blinks at the same time.

so in short, its normal.

the manual also says you must assign the q-link to a pad before it becomes effective..
