so you know how you can have the pads loaded up with samples? alright so if you connect your midi keyboard and you want to trigger the samples already on the pad with your midi keyboard..its supposed to work right?
it works for me but the problem im having is the order is all messed up.. like pad one would be the C key and Pad two would be the E key an octave above the pad1/C key.. how come it doesnt go in order? you know pad 1= C on the midi.. pad 2= D or say d flat.. etc etc
its all jumbled up.. and also if you assign the whole "sixteen level" thing on the mpc wherein a single sample is pitched in all the different pads chromatically how come the keyboard doesnt recorgnize that??
like if i've set my mpc to 16 levels and i press the pads it works but if i press my keyboard it only plays the original sampe in only the key that it used to play the sample....i was thinking if the original sample used to be triggered by the C key then the D , E , F should be a pitch increase accordingly..but when i press d, e , and F nothing happens.
i have an Xboard61 with only one midi output. no midi input slot. but i dont think that should have any impact on it..
