mpc2500 program problem

hi
im just after getting an mpc 2k5.so this could be a stupid question.
i can record a sequence fine but when i change the program field
all the part of the seq i recorded changes with it,
can anyone help me out

i figured it, sorry i wont ask anymore stupid questions
