I recently purchased an MPC 1000. I bought a compatible HD, installed it, and put my samples on it. I cut up a bunch of drum samples in Pro tools recently, dropped them on the MPC HD but they weren't being recognized as sound files due to the fact that they were .aiff files. I converted them to .wav and they are now recognized as sound files. However, they will not play, even when I scroll thru them while hitting the F5 button. They are 24/48 wavs. Older samples on the drive do play. Any reason why?

put them back on ya pc and do a convert on the to 16 bit 44100hz i`ve had this before its when u try and rip sounds from other prog some sort of didgital copyright similar to that of cd`s that only lets u make one copy from origional and not a copy from copy.

check they work in audacity or sommit too.

or i could just be wrong lol

Yeah, it was because they were 24 bit. So I converted them to 16 and MOST of them work. A few give me the"File not found" warning when I try to play them with F5. Anyone know anything about that?
