alright i was wondering if anyone really uses the 4 outs or do most of you guys just use the stereo outs and do each track one at a time thru this onto computer?

i use the stereo outs and keep each piece as seperate tracks then input them into the computer. i have way to many insturments and not enough channels on my mixer. :(

ps also to lazy to get a patchbay and figure it out.

the eq setup can be a bit fiddly always menu and sub menu but i think i`m gonna try persevere with four outs pan l and r to get 8 outs and split those in my mixer, at least i think i can do that. not tryd yet.

bassically i`m going to try and get live manual mixing capabilities for my tracks. don`t use computer though so could get bit fiddly

fun though

wuts cool about the jj os is that u can actually assign a pad to just the L or the R out instead of having to pan them same with the 12 and 34

if you assign a pad with a stereo sample to one of the outs, is it still stereo and i need like a Y-adapter into my mixer or are the L and R combined into one mono output or what?

the assignable outs are mono, so the most outs you can get (either by panning
with the akai OS or assigning outs with JJOS) is 6

but i use all 6. 1 2 3 kick snare hats, 4 bass, L R for all other sounds.

if you have enough channels on your mixer and it can help get better seperation, if mixed well.
