help with my new 3000

hey i own a 2500, 1000 and a 2000xl...ive just managed to get the 3000 wich ive been looking for for a while now....having learned on the modern machines i had a small shock when i realised how different the 3000 is...None the less i love it to pieces just would be very gratefull if someone could explain how the sample trimming works as im used to trimming the start and end of the audio wave visually in preference to numbers.....Could some explain for me....Thanks

You use your ears don't know what else to say.

'Use your ears' .....well thats a helpfull pointer in regards to wich paramaters need adjusting to trim the beginning and ends of samples.....Thats the kind of cocky statement aimed at some beginner wich im not. i just thought someone could explain the options and how they work as i have no manual.

Yeah seriously.

Cmon guys, I mean, how about more discussion. Workflow is conversed about in the other forums, why not this one? It doesn't have to be all about OS's and freaking flash card mods.

page 167 of the pdf..download and peep it fam..I don't think they tryin to be hard asses over giving you good advice. Don't cheat yaself..took my 5 seconds to find by typing "editing sound" in the search box of the pdf manual. I'm a mpc3000 newbie myself. Haven't got it in the mail yet, just gettin a head start lookin at the manual I dl'd online..good luck bruh

what utalkin about program*sound ; 2 ; decay then ur left hand gets on to the pad real fast and ur right hand flowers around with the wheel and ur ears do the job so the sample doesnt end that abruptly????

My hands do that as i think of it.. like 3 secs.. amazing how these macihnes get in ur subconcious fast... freud would be impressed
