Would you like Tutor to write a JJ OS1 e-book for the 1000?

I voted No, since I've been using the JJ OS from the beginning. However, I support the idea of a JJ OS e-book for those who need the extra help.

I also feel in my opinion that if you're still new to the MPC1000 (reguardless of whether you went straight to the JJ OS), you'll gain alot of knowledge about your MPC through the existing MPC1000 e-book.

YES! I think it would be great and probably sell a lot! :D

i voted no because though i want jj to be successful, an old part of me wants this to be "NEW OS" June 2006 forever - a secret club for a select and passionate few

on the other hand, writing one of these would be very fun...maybe i could contribute videos or articles...

Nope

i vote yes because its hard enough for me since i just got my mpc1000 and im coming from a 2000xl, and i wasted enough time reading the manual half way for the akai os. a tutorial for jjos would cut down on wasted time

the ebook should be accompanied by a dvd style tutorial

Yeah NYM. I hear you. But I love your videos on youtube. That would be so cool if you were to contribute some videos for an e-book. I know I would by them.

Voted no. Imho, once you've sampled the jjos, you'll want to move up to os2, which would make an os1 e book kinda pointless. to me that is, the poll's all about democracy 'n' sh!t.

naahhhh.....

there's enough spoonfeeding action as is....

some cat's need to learn stuff on their own...

leastways, that's how i see it.

i don't think there's anything in JJ that you can't pick up after learning the
AKAI OS thoroughly.

and we need to encourage experimentation, not a linear method for learning
'how to make the beat'
:)

I totally agree

the less documentation on JJ OS (either version) the better

helps to spark more discussion about different ways to use the features, etc.

I think could be better a tutorial dvd, think in all the time you can waist typing all those pages, you can save time doing videos and its easy to everybody see images and processes in action than read and then put in practice...

Uh, yeah, why not. More people, more ideas, more help.
