scsi device for both mpc3k and s3000?

I got the s3000 today! is there a scsi HD or card reader i can use with both of these machines? from a quick look at the back of the sampler i realized the pin situation is different. i have never owned any scsi gear so please, be patient

I do intend to get myself the 3.5 OS, but i was asking about the s3000,

The appropriate SCSI cables will help.

Tell us what type of connector is on the rear of your new SCSI HD.

I don't hve a scsi HD yet, i was wondering if i get something like a card reader will i be able to use it with both the s3000 and the mpc? (not simultaneously naturally). do i just need to get the right cable for each to hookup to the scsi device?
