Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Works boring as f*ck and I wanna get home to my beloved - gonna plug a midi keyboard into the sucker tonight - do I need to select a midi channel for it to work or will it automatically configure.... :?:

I'm no midi expert but I don't think it's that simple....

Try the search, I'm sure it has been discussed a million and one times already...


But yeah, I know how you feel... Can't wait to get home to "get some action"

did the search but didnt hit anything. I guess I can work it out with the manual - but I only got a PDF version. I synched my MC303 and SP303 so im hopin it wont be that difficult!

your going to have to select a midi channel, and the instrument you want to use on pgms. i know the feeling!! :)

Change your input, to the right of the DRUM1 selector on the main screen DRUM1-1a-Device01 - The midi device on input A channel one. will trigger sounds in DRUM1 on the MPc. there ya go fella. its **** piss easy dude,

Thank mate i was playing multisamples on the pads last night which was difficult to say the least!
