sup?
i hope someone can help me, my mpc does these strange click sounds (little bit like metronome) now and then... like once in a minute. and its really annoying when you trying to get the beat to multitracks.

here is a example for the sound that it makes... please check it and let me know if you know whats up!

its not about wires or anything, makes the sound even when i got only earphones in mpc. i got os JJ OS 3.08...

ohh i got the solution now, it was all because of the usb-cable, you shouldnt keep it wired up all the time. haha. didnt know it can create this kind of troubles.

hah, yeah that makes sense. i've heard strange stuff when it's plugged in or when the hard drive spins up but never nothing loud like that metronome-like pop you had.

you don't even need an mpc doctor

You have to love unproperly shielded/grounded cables.

You might try with different cables, it's highly likely that you were either hearing a hard drive power load coming through the cable (which would be a computer problem), or possibly picking up radio frequencies which is also not cool (which would be a cable problem). Likely the solution is way easier than trying to find the source of the problem though.
