How the Dickens do you save the midi note number settings on an MPC3000?

I'm assuming you can save them to the machine's rom rather than to a disk?

I've trawled through the manual but can't seem to find what I'm looking for!?! Image

Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Save system parameters to disk ... the *.PAR file

These values are stored in your machine's NVRAM.

They'll be held there provided that your main board NVRAM battery is good.

Saving them to ROM can only be done in the "HARD-BURN" upgrade option when you purchase a Vailixi upgrade for your MPC3000.

IE: Your chosen parameters become the new HARD BURNED system defaults in ROM.

Until then ...

Save your parameters to disk ... the *.PAR file.

The battery can be replaced.

CR2032 lithium type with strip tags spot weld attached for through hole board mounting.

Easy job for a repair tech.

As the battery is located on the main board it might be best leaving the replacement to a technician if you're not up for this kind of re-working job.

Nope. I am not Roger Linn in disguise.

Good luck with the NVRAM battery / parameter issue.
