sample sounds louder when sequence starts over

if i sequence for instance a hihatloop and record up to 8 bars with drums and other stuff the crazy thing is that it sounds louder when it starts at bar 1 again. But for only for two seconds then the volume is normal again (how i recorded it)

This is realy anoying, is there a fix for this?

Maybe there is a velocity sensitive parameter you are over looking and you recorded it INTO the sequence. Go into step edit and check the volumes of each individual pad bang/event. If you have a velocity thing going while you record, take it off and record again or like I said go into step edit and edit each volume of each event.

thanks, but the crazy thing is that i already selected and tried to go in seq edit and adjusted the volume from each note so all is the same but it still happen. I thought that it was something with the sample play mode but tried that also. Hmm i keep struggling here.... :roll:

I don't have a 4k but those are the only things I can think of. Some parameter somewhere might be getting your way and maybe, just maybe you recorded and made it the way you hear it now. that volume curve is recorded in is what I'm guessing.

maybe set the poly to 1 if the voice is supossed to be mono.

Yeah, that's the first thought I have. If (say on the 2000) you have it set to Poly and the sample is longer than it's supposed to be, the tail of the sample will mash up with the re-trigger of it and it will double the volume depending on how long the tail is.
