MPC2500/ Logic 7 - Sync Issues?

I've just managed to sync my MPC (Master) with Logic 7 (Slave), but I'm still experiencing a few small problems.

First, there's a slight skip in the signal when I hit play on the MPC, all the tracks seem to cut off for a moment, any ideas?

Second, when pressing record on the MPC, the cursor starts halfway into the beginning of the first measure...I have double checked my Sync settings and ensured that the bar position was set to 0:0:0:0

Third, I'm using an M-Audio Ozonic as my sound interface, which is also a combination MIDI keyboard. My MIDI inputs and stereo ins from the MPC are being run through the Ozonic. The problem is when playing MIDI notes with the MPC simultaneously, certain tracks from the MPC are cut off...seems I can't play both at the same time..

Any ideas/input of what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated

sorry, i dont have an answer for you but i would like to know how you got the mpc as the master and logic as slave. im on logic 8 but im sure the same thing applies

as of logic 8, logic cant be slave anymore.

i used to have those problems with logic7 but since ive moved to logic 8 ive just hit play on my mpc when the countoff starts...i have to figure out teh whole synching thing soon, but for now all i know is that logic8 cant be slave.
