Does anyone know how I could do some test. I know how to do shift + global . I KNOW DO A SEARCH READ THE MANUAL. I only have 7 days to mess with it how often is to often when your 4000 freezes I own a 2000xl so I learned to live with it but that might happen once every two months for me. I learned on a SP 1200 so I dont need to sample two days worth of ISH but do sample my share. That would cut that problem down but the 4000 is a different story. The 4000 I'm getting is fully blown and cheep I could even keep it for spare parts but would be happy if it work fine.

As you mentioned the test mode (Shift + Global) the next test for you to do is to just use it. Try out all the outputs and inputs. Record a few sequences play them back using different outputs and bit rates. Transfer files to the comp. using akSys to make sure the USB port is working. Just try out everything you can.

And make sure you are using OS 1.70 or 1.71.

1400 Trust me the hardrive has sounds..not shit I sampled..but st\uff..like Symphony of voices,History of Korg, Sounds not loops. I am quite sure you could use a 72 or greater piano patch for your productions. Bass, strings, etc. But 1400 if you want it. I will bring it to you today. Let me know.
