Just Got 500 (Cutting Off Samples, etc...)

Hi All, I already have a 2000XL & 60, but just splurged and bought the 500 yesterday. I've seemed to figure out most of the things on my own, but was wondering if someone could tell me how to get to the screen were I can have samples cut off eachother, also do you know how many you can cut off? For example the 2000XL, you can have one sample cut off two others. I tried to find this in the manual before I came to work but didn't have any luck.

In any event, this is a cool lil machine. I'm kinda concerned about ti maybe breaking since it seems so fragile. How do yall like yours?? What options would you like to have?

Hi there. What you are looking for is caled mute groups and can be found in program edit mode (Mode pad-6). This machine is the most well build tabletop machine that i own. The Korg electribe samplers are much more fragile!! I have no problems with mine (besides software issues ).

Hey Thanks For the info, its greatly appreciated. Just so I'm intune, what software issues are you having? Seems like mine came with OS version, 1.1.
