mpc2000xl se3 what is the difference

just got my hands on a mpc2000xl se3

differences i note are

32 mb ram
scsi installed
paint job
black pads

are there any other differences, thanks

also its for sale on ebay if you want it, thanks

I have a 2kxlse2 (orange) there's no difference, just cosmetics, that's it.

Mine has red/white glow in the dark pads.. :twisted:

yo where can i get those glow in the dark pads????
i have a glow in the dark paint job on the 2000xl the pads would be nice!
plus i hear they got a good feel

I never said it was a paint job, where did you get that from, lol.

No paint. It's stock standard glow in the dark rubber, it was sold like that, brand new.

The RUBBER the pads are made with is glow in the dark rubber.
They are more soft than the normal grey/white 2kxl pads.

You don't put paint on rubber pads, wtf, LMAO.

hahaha no man i have a glow int the dark paint job on my mpc ...... the military discontinued useing it because the fumes can cause health probs or some thing but i would love matching pads to go with my paint job! who puts paint on rubber pads?lol

Health probs with fumes, but you wanna use it now? lol. ? ? lol.

Peeps have been on the forum before wanting to pimp out their pads and spoke of painting their pads (seriously, cmon now). It's not such a smart thing to do.

No disrespect but neither is using military grade paint that was deemed unfit due to health problems caused by it.

I remember those fluorescent glow-in-the-dark colors (also those they use on watch dials) were said to contain radioactive components. Don't know how much truth is in that, or if they use something different nowadays. You got access to a geiger counter, Lamp? :D

lol yo i never said i wanted to paint the pads...
i just want the pads that glow in the dark!
health is health im around dangerous cigarette smoke and all that on a daily... its on my spare casing just something i wouldnt mind having is either the phat pads forat used to have or the glow in the dark pads NO PAINTED ONES...

brand new 2kxlse2 (orange). When I tried it out the pads were WAY softer and I liked it. I bought it.

I actually posted my reciept somewhere here on the forums. Someone was talking about receipts so I
posted mine up. Second best purchase I ever made for gear.

As for the paint, I hear you man. I'm just not funkin with that stuff ya know.

My 2kxlse2 is stock standard color and I'll keep it that way, I don't need anything extra, I outfitted it with
an MCD but that's it, nothing else is needed.

If I do end up with another mpc, I'll get it custom painted the EXACT same color/pattern as my 2kxlse2
cause I'm very comfortable with that.
