just got my 60...

sound is DOPE!!!!!

i had a 2000 classic and there is deff a thicker more bassy sound to the 60 then the other mpcs...

quick couple quesitons!!!

1) in sample new sound it only gives me 4.5 sec... i have more then that... i try to change it to bigger numbers but it jumps back to 4.5 after is scroll down... any tips on this???

2) any tips on how chopping samples and breaks??? cuz it has the memory expansion so i plan on using the 60 as a stand alone piece for sometime.

Well first of all what OS are you running cause it sounds like your using OS 2.12 or something equivalent so sampling is pretty much pointless unless you have OS 3.10 cause every time you sample something your gonna have to save it and then reload it everytime.

i have 3.03

If I'm not mistaken, there is a 4.5 sec. limit on new samples on pre-3.10 OS.

Yeah you need 3.10 OS to be able to use the full sample time all at once.

if u get 3.10 can u sample like the 1000 an start a new program an have it assigned to the pads instead of doing each pad

Nah otherwise there would probably be alot more people still using the 60!
