Deleting sounds and files

Okay, this is really pissing me off. I'm trying to free up room on my internal hard drive because the MPC isn't letting me create more than one original program. I've gone throught he process of deleting each of the old programs that came with the MPC, but now what? They keep coming back everytime I turn on the MPC. I know....I know. Do a search! I've done thatalready and can't find the answers. C'mon guys help me out! Thanks.

Dude, that's not even the same thing! That's just making sure the files don't come up at start up. I don't want them in the MPC period.

then save some empty ENTIRE PROJECT into internal memory. That way you will overwrite whatever is in it.

my bad must have read it too quick

Or you can go to the program page delete all the programs you dont want then hit purge, this will clear the samples your not using, but its easier what effekt said.

I went and did that, but was given "No sample wave." Thus, the internal data is still there.

I did SAVE>ALL PGM & SMPL

Then I get the window with the girl saying, "This will erase all internal data" which is exactly what I want. But after I "Do It," it stops and says "No sample wave."

Any ideas?

hmm...then just load one short sample into your program. Like a hi-hat or something.
