Hi i ve tried to use spdif insted of jack cables(a lot of people saying that there will help me on sound cause there is a lot of noise by using cable) but it doesn't work.
I insert on spidf out(from mpc) to spidf in (m audio fast track pro usb interface) but there's no sound coming out from my monitor also i can't export sound to my nuendo.
that means i can't work,i ve tried to understand reading the manual but there wasn't any tutorial on how it works spidf.
I bought an spdif cable(golden material) not a normal rca cables.
Am i wrong?
Another question is:the are 4 output on my mpc,how can i use them to transfer each track(i use for example track 1 drums,2 snare,3 hi hat).Right now i have to play each track and transfer by stereo out,on input of the interface and recording on nuendo, but it means i just wasting the 4 output.
Any help will be appreciated.

In your recording program, there will probably be a preference setting or option to turn on the SPDIF. I just had this same problem two days ago. I'm using pro-tools though, your situation might be different.

Make sure that spdif port is selected as recordable/monitored, whatever.

Make sure that software spdif channel is the correct sample rate.

The correct sample rate being whatever your MPC is outputting via spdif.

MPC spdif specs should be in your manual.
