Button Template For MPC 2000...

As in, a printout to do designs on? I'd love one of them... either that or an entire new shell - have some nasty ideas I want to try out but won't do it to my almost-new case.

Maybe just by a vinyl appliqué and copy that, I doubt the manufacturers wouldn't be keen to share their dimensions but no harm asking.

Have thought about making a checkerplate case, it'd be a nightmare of a job to do properly but the effort would be worthwhile

take the manual as pdf. take a screenshot of the mpc picture, then load it in one drawing program. delete all the things you don't need.

Hopefully that'll work, otherwise... pull the case off, get a digital caliper and start measuring. My experience with metal engineering means I could get you dimensioned to within 0.05mm and if I had the time could probably make a new case by hand. But I don't have the time or motivation to do any of that for you, sorry (nevermind I have an XL anyway) :p

I think that'd be the best idea though, get a .pdf to .bmp converter, then take a few crucial measurements to help you with scaling - grab paint.net or similar free editing program that uses layers and go crazy from there.

Thanks to MoWax i now have the 2000 classic template. So my questions are now...

01) once ive edited and used the bits i need out of the .pdf. How to do get it onto the mpc?

02) im guessing it's been ripped from the .pdf so i need to know the measurements of the mpc to stretch the image out to fit it. Does anyone know the correct measurements?

03) also when i zoom in close the the .pdf image its pixelated will that matter?

I know some people will come back saying do it yourself blablabla but it's just so much easier if someone knows already...

The file is already in righ size, so you have to only print it.
