You would have to break the situation down better, because from what I'm understanding, You are saying your Midi Controller is indicating that the the MPC is not sending a signal, when the MPC would normally indicate that the Midi Controller isnt sending it a signal

also, what might be good to is, if you could explain your setup to us, and what you are trying to do exactly, Thanks....

i simply want to record, what i drum into the mpc in cubase.
my setup is: mpc midi out -> midi/usb controler -> cubase

but the indicatorlight on my usb controler is not blinking, so i guess the mpc is not sending the midi signal !
but what am i doing wrong ??
thanks for your held !

Misread your post first...but have to tried hooking it to the PC directly? Or to some other sound generating module? Set the active program to the correct MIDI out and channel?

what kinda Midi/Usb controller do you have, and how many inputs and outputs do you have on it? Also, do you have the MIDI Output of the MPC connected to the Input of the MIDI/USB Controller?

Also, in the sequence Screen, make sure you have the MPC set up on MIDI 1A, MIDI 1B, or etc.... when you are trying to send a signal
