Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I was wondering if I could some how convert my scsi output on the back of my 2000xl to read usb drives. I found a cable thats scsi hd50 to usb male and i was gonna buy a double female conecter but will the mpc read files off of a usb drive this way??? i know it sounds kind of out there but i realy dont want to switch to the newer models

mpc2kxl, was not designed with usb in mind (no native usb support). No installation of third party drivers in 2kxl os either, no.

thanx I thought as much yes i think the cable requires drivers!! i dontr know its just this is the second card reader on my xl and it erases the card and wond load had same problem b4... So how would I conect my xl straight to pc from scsi??? if its not to much to ask????? :mrgreen:

mpc is a master scsi device.

pc is a master scsi device.

no go.

scsi zip/cf/floppy/cdrom drive is a slave.

MUST be 1 master and slave(s). Not 2 master devices.

Your not giving up enough detailed info on what you are doing, what you are seeing and what you are trying. Impossible.....
