I got my blue LEDs in the mail today. So I hope to install them this weekend.

I just did a bunch of LED's...
If anyone is interested I took a ton of pics... but no time to put together a guide, partial or otherwise.
What I can say though after testing the leads and everything is this...
Long is left. Just remember that. If you were looking at the MPC 1000 from a normal usage position and you put the LED into the holes, the long end goes on the left side. I don't know 100% that this is for all of them, but this is correct for the Q-Link LEDs, the pad bank LEDs, full level LED, 16 levels LED and mode LED. I didn't check the others, but I imagine they are the same.
It was pretty easy with a nice thread of de-solder braided metal. I might have to pick up a few purples and see how cool that looks. Just need to wait for the wood or chrome ends to show up in the store.
For anybody on the fence, if you're comfortable with a soldering iron this was probably the silliest but most fun cosmetic project I have done in a long time!

NearTao, I'd love to see some of the pictures. They don't need to be in any specific order. I'd just like to see how it turned out. I just got JJ Ver. 2. Soon I need to upgrade to the new pads. Once I do that, I plan to modify my Mp a little. It's great that so many options are now available.

The wife gave me a little bit of time on father's day to put a bit more together. I posted a new thread with a pdf link here about replacing the LEDs...
