whats up, I love this setting. anyways:

is there a way i can use this setting on an external sampler? i.e. via midi messages? im sampling into my triton, but i like the way this feature works when my samples are in the mpc. Can this be transmitted by midi? or does my sampler have to have a similar play back, trigger option?

peace, and please help a brother out.

I don't know if you can transmit a message from the MPC to the Triton to do it but you can set the Triton to play it back that way. Go into program mode and press Menu> check the Single Trigger box and the Hold box, you should be good to go

This feature is machine depending. Your MPC has it, now if your triton has a similar funtion that is accessible via a midi signal then you can trigger it from within the sequencer of the MPC (Midi Production Center ;-))

i knew it probably be in there somewhere. Makes it so much better. Ive been venturing into sampling more and more with the triton.....compared to the mpc its a pain, but so far i get better quality. Anyways, i still like the timestretch better on the mpc.

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it.
