Can i change multiple note velocities in one go

I recorded down some basslines on my 2000xl, wrote a whole song around it and now after dumping each track down onto pro tools i realise my bass is distorting as the notes were played with too much pressure. When i turn each individual note velocty down it fixes the problem but there are way too many to do this one by one.

Can i edit all the velocities in one go, or only one by one?

As i suspected. That sucks. Might just replay it rather than edit, its a whole 5 mins of songs worth, both options aint cool.

If you dont mind retracking out the bassline than all you have to do is look on the main screen of the bassline track and where it says velocity 100% just change the value lower untill the bassline is not distorting, then track the bassline again. You DO NOT have to do it note by note.

and another way you can do it would be to go into the mixer screen on the mpc. Go to where the bass notes are. Hold shift and tap each pad of the notes you played. Now you can controll all the volume levels at the same time.
