tracks and sequences

i have a sequence called TRAIL1 and i have TRACK1 with PROGRAM1 (drums) and TRACK2 with PROGRAM2 (guitar). i am trying to get them to play together. can it be done? ive read the instruction booklet but it doesnt really help me. as far as i can tell it probably should play together. what am i doing wrong, or can it be done? do i have to use the SONG mode?

i think its the original version. i dont think its jj newer version. i bought it second hand and i dont know if its been upgraded. any help will be appreciated

You are correct sir. I totally missed that..... I will adjust my answer... I cannot think of a reason to not be able to play both simultaneously. Unless it is playiong SOLO......
