My 8 outs is killing me!

I got my 8 outs hooked up to my interface, but the problem is they seem to jump around like little kids! i got my kick assigned to OUT 1, snare to OUT 2, HH to OUT 3... it works for a few secs then they start to switch place with each other. My kick will be assigned to Out 2, HH to OUT 1... any1 know about this problem?

It sounds like an audio driver issue. A few more details about your setup and what s/w you're using, I'm pretty sure someone will figure it out for you.

I got a MOTU Ultralite and im working 24/96. Im tracking everything into Cubase SX. The thing is it doesnt seem to **** up when im using 24/44, kinda strange...

Make sure you're using the latest driver for your MOTU. Also in Cubase, if you go to the devices tap, device setup, vst audio bay, you should see somewhere where you can change the master asio driver.

I got the newst drivers for my MOTU and i know how to track my beats to my DAW (ofc im usin Asio), i used to do it with my MV 8800 all the time whitout any problems. It must be the MPC, never had this problem before. Im jus curious if its a bug or if there is a any way to fix it...

i had the same problem as well im using a new alesis interface & cubase.
its not the interface or ur software...

its the mpc ...its outputs are for 8 pads not 8 tracks...
u can send 8 pads to 8 diffirent tracks in cubase

have fun setting that up....i believe u can adjust it from the mixer
its actually smart cause u can master each sound seperately in your daw....
but if u have alot of sounds coming from your mpc....good luck PATCHING
