Follow this for the rest of your posts... I had just posted it up in the comparison forum, but this fits much better :P

Oh, and good use of CAPS!

First...

Dudes, I want to make fat (or phat) dope stoopid beatz. Which MPC is for me? I haven't read any of the manuals online and don't tell me to RTFM because I am too smart for that! I already have a hundred songs planned out, and I will be making trance, techno, house, hip hop, classical and goa.

Then...

How do I make beatz on my MPC? I haven't read the manual or forum cuz I am too bizzzy making dope beatz! The MPC is awzum! If anybody wants to collab, I have lots of really good ideas and I can tell you what to do to make the tracks sound awezum!

Followed by...

The MPC samplez are totally gay! Can somebody post their samplez someplace for me? You can also email them to me directly at [email protected]. I don't have anything to trade, but you'll feel good knowing that you helped a brutha out!

Then...

Some of you jerks told me to go through my crates and sample my own joints. My parents won't let me use the record player when they aren't home, so duh, obviously I can't sample nuffin! I still haven't read the manual but this seems like a lot of work anyways. Can't somebody just give me a taste of phat samplez or somethin'?

Almost done...

Akai and MPC sucks big time. I spent about fifteen minutes using my MPC and can't figure it out. Nobody on these dumb forumz is helping me! If someone as smart as me (and I just turned fourteen) can't figure it out, then it must be garbage. I'm selling my MPC to get the newest MPC (MV, DAW, whatever), because I hear that makes phat beatz and comez with samplez!

Finished...

I got FLStudio and it makes phat beatz! All you losers should use FL Studio, it already has an MPC in it and doesn't even cost anything because I got it off the internetz! Only morans pay for things that you can get for free! The sounds that come with FL Studio are way better than the sounds on the MPC! FL Studio even has demo songs on it, the MPC doesn't demo anything! I have already made two dopez trackz on FL Studio and my mom and dad say I'm amazing, even though all I really did was record the demo trackz and put my name on it. I still need dope samplez though, can anyway please email me or post their samplez for me and my friendz?

This is the funniest replies i have seen in a long time........

OP, when you turn on your MPC and load your sequences, you have to load the samples/sound files as well....

The manual will explain this very well. THis is a basic thing, and these guys refuse to answer things that are clearly in the manual..... The manual is avail free on akai's site.

I won't speak for other people here, but when it looks like someone is phone text messaging a forum post it makes it about a hundred times more difficult to take seriously. I can handle certain amounts of all capitis, spelling errors and poor grammar... heck I know I'm not perfect, but come on!

I initially only joined the forum so I could do searches myself for a few questions, but what do I know! :)

First let's make this intelligent... and unbolded... and uncapped... and remove unnecessary information...

tdirkens wrote:Hi everybody, I just got an MPC 1000. I would like to make click tracks and sequences for my songs, but I am not sure how to save them properly because every time I load them up my samples are missing.

How can I properly save my samples and sequences? I would appreciate it if you could explain it step by step.

When you go to save, instead of saving sequences, samples etc... use the data wheel to select "Entire Memory". I know it isn't step by step, but if you're saving sequences already you should know how to get that far. Before pushing F6 for "Do It" though, you might want to select "New" to create a new directory first to store your project in.

and now to translate it back

2 SAV TEH SMPLZ N SEQZ AT TEH SAM TIM, USE TEH DAT WHEL N SEL "TIRE EMO"!1!1ONE1!!!

How to save is covered in the manual.

How to make a sequence is in the manual.

Assign a "click" to a track and assign it to an output to the drummer.

Read the manual and use your head dude.
