I've downloaded the lastest os2 file from the jj website, and put it on the harddrive of my mpc, but the file doesn't show up when I search for it inside the mpc. Do you need to change the file extension? right now it saves as an .os2.txt file. is that nahright?

it should be just .os2..... download it to your cf card. then select it and hit do it, just like your loading anything else. then you restart your mpc and your good. peace.

Use the file rename to shave of that .txt stuff. It's some kind of weird issue with that metalink that causes an extra suffix to be added on to the file. Most of the reports of it we get on here are from people using Mac systems but I had similar issues with it just last night using Firefox on Dynebolic Linux. Haven't tried it on winblowz but my other non -mac -win -linux system doesn't have this problem.

The file you downloaded is a .bin file.
Copy it to your CF card.
You need JJOS1 to Load JJOS2
In OS1 Hit Mode Load scroll to the .bin and load it.

you first need to buy the password for OS1, JJ OS purposely made it so it wont show up till you enter the password on OS1.
