The MV handles 120GB drives , DVD(read) CDR/RW(read/write) when upgraded by the user. Out of the box the MV exports it's Audio Tracks as WAVs , import a wav of any sample rate or bit depth and can import WAVs created on any DAW. I don't claim that the MV is beast of beast but my point is that there's nothing groundbreaking going on with the 5000 just yet.

The MVs hard drive is only for saving. The 5K's hard drive is can be used for 8 tracks of hard disk recording. I never said it was ground breaking. You didn't read the part where I wrote that the ASR-10 and Triton studio has hard disk recording? So tell me something I don't know for the sake of argument. But this is not really a debate aout an MV and an MPC. It is about Just Blaze's rant which we are no getting any specifics or anything new on this topic. So what's the point? We have plenty of non-users who says the 5K is trash. Just Blaze uses it and says it is trash. Ok..so now what?

I purchase Akai products because I like what they offer. It has nothing to do with loyalty or being blind. I do the same thing with Yamaha and Korg products. But at least I talk about things I own or use.

I will be using the 5K until the 5K-XL or 6K drops. When the MV-9000 drops, I will buy that to. If Korg comes out with something better than the M3..it's mine. If Yamaha improves the OS of the Motif....I'm sold.

But let's get back to the MPC 5K. It has been obvious that the Just Blazes in the world are not interested in any real useful dialog about the machine. If this iactually the dude he posted the rant (I have some doubts)..why keep posting the same thing every day with nothing new to say? So it's not user error? Than give us the steps to reproduce your problem. If not, than at least entertain us with your best Jay-Z and Kanye story.
