which one of these would be best suitable for my Mpc...

I was uder the impression that you could only use the EXM128 cause no others were short enough.

you want a 256 meg chip. tho the mpc will only read 128 megs of it. the ram specs are on a sticky topic at the top of this forum.

is there a point to havein 256mb ram if it only reads 128mb ?

Do not get the kingston 128mb, get the 256. 128mb WILL NOT work.

thats like running a 32bit version of windows with a 64 bit processor.....theres no point.

or does the mpc say that it has 128 and lets you use the whole 256.

Who needs 24 minutes of st sample time anyways.

In my opinion with that many sample's its easy to get lost and hard to get work done.

Nevermind that last comment. I understand now. Akai is rippin us off.
They got me awhile ago before this talk of off brand ram.
