When I put my Mpc2000 1.72 floppy disk unto the hard drive. The screen says Disk read error. How can I go about getting or repairing this issue?

Have you tried making another boot floppy? Could be the floppy disk you have been using has developed a fault.

Other programs? You can only load the operation system.
