I've only had one, even if it busted I don't think I could part with it.

Here's my blue and red 1000, as you can see it's not very blue or red. There's no writin on it either. The Mpc of the pro's.

When I had it all takein apart and waitin for the paint to dry. I wrapped the top side in plastic wrap and kept on workin..

Originaly I was gonna paint it white with black side panel ,Storm trooper style. But I decided to go with the vader aproach.

Yeeeeeeaaaa thats It. You change to the blue back lit screen too! Very nice
I would have just painted it white myself. I used a high end car paint. Couple coats made it all fit real tight.

But I kinda like the fact that mines got no writin on it.
It makes it so if you don't know what your doin with you ain't gonna touch it.
Keeps the random's of my Girl.

Hey guys,

I know this has been done to death and I've read loads of posts on this but still can't puzzle out whether my machine has the new pads. I've only just received it here in the UK and it says MPC1000BK on the box (without the N) .

Compared to my trusty RY30 drum machine the pads don't seem that great, you seem to have to hit them pretty hard. Maybe that's just the way it is and I need to get used to it.
Just testing the velocity input I had to hit it with every ounce of strength to register above 100! Adjusting the sensitivity does help though.

Can't get any sense out of the dealers here in UK

Any ideas how I can check?
