Dude, you don't need to deal with any of the MMC settings (it's for controlling linear or modular machine transports or vice versa). Plus you need to put the reference settings on cubase back to "Internal Timecode," so that it can be the master and be able to distribute MTC and/or Midi Clock.

I think most of these dumb asses must of stolen their mpc's and other gear, its the only explanation for the lack of BASIC understanding of the equipment.

Common sense would tell most people with half a brain, that they need to make audio connections to be able to record audio.

1) I have never studied a single audio related thing in my life, no coarses and no help from others.
2) Audio is my hobby. The PA company is me getting my hobby to pay its way, something you will NEVER do.
3) I read manuals, even before I buy stuff, that way I don't have to ask the type of dumb questions you ask.

cubase sync set to midi in
mpc sync set to midi out (don't forget to set a,b or ab for the output the sync is appearing at)

No, your fault is you don't read the effing manuals. All you wanna do is watch some poor quality video clip and think thats gonna teach you everything. I think most videos will assume you have at least the amount of knowledge, or just plain common sense to have your audio hooked up. Its like taking your car to a petrol garage, pulling up next to the pump and asking someone why your petrol tank isnt filling up because you've not enough brains to work out that in order for the liquid to pass from pump to car, the two need to be connected.

Manuals are there for a reason, and i'm pretty damn sure you'll find all about hooking up audio connections in the very first chapter of virtually every manual.

Looks like this setup scenario has the mpc as the master. But in the video, the mpc was slaved.
