VST Service always sells MPCs on ebay. But if you don't see any listings when you have the money saved, you can always go directly to their website @ http://www.vstservice.com/
I've been doing business with VST for a few years now and they're the most reputable sales and service center around.
Even our admin MPC-Tutor recommends them and also buys his MPCs from them.... and Tutor lives in the UK.

I got my brand new black 1k with new pads, HD, fully blown ram for $1000.

Brand new for £599. Quite steep I reckon but hopefully worth it.

I paid £475 from DV247.com they have a price beater link on there web page wich i hooked up to with the price that turnkey do it for 499. But turnkeys web page is broken so i went to to price beater and they emailed within 5 mins saying they could beat the 499 price, was only expecting a match but they dropped £24 lower. Nice deal.

Got mine brand new in Japan (BK-N model), with the new pads, EXM128 included, and the Akai 128meg CF for around $960us.

Got mine for free from the communitycenter I used to work for.
She was new and cost 999 euros (4years ago)at Feedback in Rotterdam at the time... thats 128ram and bad pads inclusive

Got mine for $800 dollar from Guitar Center brand new with 2 year warranty. I have the faulty pads though which really sucks.

lol, I should roll the dice with this one. Hopefully I could fix anything wrong with it. I'm probably just going to end up paying like $820 for one from Armen (eBay) with new pads. I asked him how he knew the pads were new and he just copied and pasted the auction description. It said "no more old ones"... so I hope he doesn't just mean the pads are not used... cuz i don't want to pay over $800 for sh!t pads!

which leads me to believe his unit has new pads. is there any way that would work if the pads weren't upgraded? the UPC says MPC1000BK... so i'm kind of skeptical.

Now I dont have an MPC 1000... so I cant test this... however why is it that everyone is paying for it when I just downloaded it for free in 2 seconds after typing "jjos" in google.
