anyone know if you could get all the buttons led?

instead of just having the buttons like a b c d full level mode undo and the rest of the led buttons a kit or something u could do home made i guess , so all the buttons are led like if you were using it for a live set or just working in the dark in ur room on ur headphones before u go to sleep

Ah I see what your saying. I dont think anyone has done that. It a little more involved then just drilling some holes and popping in bulbs. i would imagine you have to add these bulbs to the existing board and just that part alone makes me say F it.

i hear what ur saying far as the electirical part i dont think it would be to complicated

actually just making them glow all the time would be really easy. but if you want them to light up when you hit them that involves a new circuit for each button. lots of work

im talking about being lit all the time but that would involve new butons.

the buttons in the clear position are the same as the white ones. so just order them from vst. and all you need to do is locate a 3-5v power lead and a ground and tap there for the power source. piece of cake homie. i would personally use the internall hdd's power if your not using an internal drive.

thats what i ment. i wouldnt power anything off the flashdrive. but i also wouldnt power anything off the hdd power if you have a hdd installed. you can very easily trace a power source off the main supply to drive the lights.

you saying have them run off their own better source or just into the main circuits of the hdd

im thinking if itll work if i get diffused led lights have them all run to CR2032 3V Lithium Batteries and have conductive epoxy to get it to stay but itll only be temporay if i do this. if i got it through my hdd wont it shorten the mpc's life haha

it wont shorten the life of the mpc if you use the hdd power source. but if there is a drive installed in that location then you will change the resistance of the circuit by adding lights to it. on the other hand you can use a circuit tester to locate a sufficient power source directly off of the main psu
