why this?? you only have to load one sample in inst.pgm... and that's it?? why do it on pc

if you were to put in one sample of , say , strings, horns, whatever, and play it an octave up or down it doan sound good. so, some people use this approach called "multisampling" , where one might put a different sample every key, (or even 3 layers of a sample on each key which is allowed by JJOS2 spec) . this makes the sound much better bro. only thing is clickin aroun' inside the mpc to assign each sample's parameters is time consuming to understate the fact. it takes me more time to make a really nice multisampled multi-layered INST for the MPC than it takes me to make a whole beat...
so yeah...i got 5 on it , if 99 other people got 5 on it , i'm sure bluebox dude or some other dude can do it for 500 euros...

just to clarify - you cannot put 3 velocitative layers in inst pgms. you CAN create layers, but not trigger them via velocity.
2nd, it most certainly does not take longer to create a multisampled inst pgm than it does to make a whole beat - either you're going about the whole multisampled inst thing the wrong way or you need to put more time behind your beats....!!!
other than that i agree. it'd be nice. i've created some 40-50 inst pgms that i use/reuse constantly. it'd be nice to have more, esp from a different machine than the kurzweil k2000 vp.
