I hope someone can help me with this! It's starting to drive me crazy.
I copied some wav files to the memory card in my MPC via the USB.
I loaded the files into memory.
I made a new program called ODB and allocated the sounds to the pads.
I created a sequence and used the wavs from that program.
All good so far!!
Then I called it a day and saved the entire memory to the memory card and turned the MPC off.
The next day I loaded the project file and listened to the sequence and there was silence.
The little flashing square next to the sequence description was flashing, so I knew the sequence was trying to play the sounds but obviously not managing to.
I went into the program to see if all the sounds were allocated to the pads and found that each description started with a "?"
I figured the sounds weren't loaded into memory so I loaded them.
Tried playing the sequence again and all was fine.
Saved the entire memory to the card again and turned the MPC off.
Next day, turned the MPC on and same problem all over.
I've gone through this several times now and just can't figure off why the sounds don't load when I re-load the project file.
Has anyone else experienced this?? I'm sure this is something really simple that I'm not doing, but really it's driving me nuts!!
