Great, always quick on the bug fixes.

Good work, JJ

edit: with the os2xl coming up, maybe it´d be a good idea to split the bug report thread into 3 threads, it´s getting chaotic already.

^ this was my version of a request for AHDSR

except this way you can always shorten the duration of a recorded note if necessary

someone understood something about pad pair number lol? I hope os1 and os2 projects will be compatible in os2xl
By dtaa pla muk Fri Nov 07, 2008 6:33 pm
os1 compatibility ain't happening - same as i was with os2 original
os2xl will likely need some sort of one-time conversion...i am guessing.
since os2xl REPLACES os2 in your mpc, i'm also guessing that jj is paying significant attention to one-way compatibility between os2 and os2xl projects

Well his English is a bit strange (maybe mine too) but I understand what he means and at the same time disagrees with this concept. It causes a lot of problems when working with:
- External midi files.
- Remapped programs.
- External keyboards.

In fact 50% of the strength of midi-to-pad mappings are lost.

This new thread discusses this problem:
http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=104817

I want JJ to go back to OS1 mapping functionality in OS2XL.

Oh shit good point. I'm about to start putting alot of time into organising I live set in OS2... so do I wait for the new OS and then put up with the bugs for months but get the added functionality?
By nanoloop Mon Nov 10, 2008 12:39 am
yeh im gonna wait until next year b4 i jump on the XL boat. see how this all pans out.

Why not just finish each project in the OS you did it in??
Instead of porting, why not just finish? - ie. track down and mix down - tune done
Unless ur one of those cats that spends months on a beat!

The trouble starts when you´re playing live...
