I Need A New Mode Button

My [MODE] button is loose. It still works, so I assume the tact switch underneath is unharmed,
but the clear button wiggles around now...

I think I found one here..

How is the install, pretty straight forward,
or is there soldering involved?
Looks like it just drops (or snaps) in place...


Oh yea. I think my WINDOW button may be going out too.
I have to "encourage" it several times before it will function.
So I'm thinking it may actually have a tact switch problem. (Strictly a guess)
I may as well fix that while I have my box open.
I've never soldered anything before. How complex of an operation are we talking about here?
Any recommended plan of action?

i had that same problem you might not want to do what i did so im not advising you just informing you . the mode button is the same as "Q" link and the other clear one i think its window im not lookin at it so im not 100% i just opend up my mpc and switched em out with one i dont use as much. once again im not telling you to do it. i woulnt want to tell you to do something to void your warranty. or disable your equipment but its a simple procedure any legit shop should be able to perform to get you by until you buy some new buttons .
