I just have to realize the new MPC's are just different with a different OS. Remember, it's all about quality samples. The 5000 came with quality samples.

My 5K may depreciate according to how much someone would pay for a used one..but it certainly isn't losing it's value on what you can do with it. $1000 can get you an MPC 2000 and ASR-10. And Kanye did 808's & Heartbreak with them :? Ok...wrong example

This is what I've been trying to say and have done so in past threads before.

C'mon brother..that is not exactly what you have been trying to say.

Rome, I'm not falling for the riff raff anymore my friend. If you'd like to, you can browse through the two thousand or so threads that I've posted and find it.

I've in some ways have brought this to light before. The only time you may have noticed that I didn't, would be during these little flame wars being touted about someone owning the best mpc and what it's got.

Will this win you a record deal? No. Will this make you stand out in the crowd as someone who's the holy grail of mpc knowledge? Probably so. But if this is what gets your d!ck hard, then do what you must...jack the f@ck off at your own expense. :P

I work nights, so I'm about to go to sleep! That's why you'll see most of my posted made late at night, or early in the morning in your case!

It's 12:30 AM here...I have to get in bed myself. Turkey, corn bread stuffing, etc is waiting for me in a few hours from now :D

Finally..you admit that the 5K is the best and most powerful MPC on the planet :P

And the bonus is... ...you can walk into a store and buy the 5K today...lol

I'd say get your hands on a 5K and see what you think bruh!

Good luck with your choice.

I really hope you brother/sisters get some decent updates for this machine. It has so much potential, but that's not to say that it already isn't a good machine.

And I'm actually wondering if the 4000 cats really do use most of the features on the 4000 or they just use it as a sequencer. Again, no disrespect to any 4000 cats.

Why not hop across to the 'quarantined' 4K threadz and ask the 4K victims (I meant users  ) - Just watch you don't get bitten - Once you get infected you'll find yourself continually in a state of 'RAGE', 'Flaming' anyone who doesn't own the 4K and you won't even know your doing it. Think of the movie '28 days later' (just a little bit of humour there y'all  )

It is already good - but the future's so bright; 5K owners gotta wear shades 8)

Ha ha, it's a shame Akai birthed some rejected, disrespectful off springs around here. I wouldn't have imagined the 5k would bring on such moral & conduct.

Some of us need to settle our little weezie azz's down and post some educational content. But I understand, slim has to try and torment some of us around here by feeling inferior to us MIGHTY 4k owners and users, & pretty much is showing it as well. Keep doing your do dawg, we still have much love for ya...ha ha.

We understand what you're going through.
