I really wasn´t going to jump in ..

But I just wanted to add to this thread that without Roger Linn the MPC wouldn´t be here and neather would these MPC Forums and about zillion other things..

making wild guesses about his ability to deliver a great music instrument is insane!!! and an insult to everyone one these forums and to everyone that loves their MPC and Music,.. its sad to see such stupidity around here ...

The man is the original source and his great destiny has touch as all !!!

Roger Linn.......we´ve got nothing but love and respect for you!!

Thank you Mr.Linn ..... thank you

Without Akai the only thing that would have existed was the original Linn Drum. Without Numark/Alesis (or whatever other company is invloved) there wouldn't be any new MPCs. I am fond of the new MPCs. So I say thank you to Akai, Numark on behalf of all the MPC users in the world.

Again...lets try to be civil. No need for insults over a drum machine and some rich dudes that program them.

First* I called you Jahrome cuz I know who you are most of us on the 4k knows. Jahrome isn`t meant a insult just your former name.

Second* Like I stated before there is no gambling on this site so no need to be calling call putting money on bets period!!!!

Third* To give out opinions one has to accept that others will have different opinions plain and simple. Most will agree with you some of the time, but others will not most of the time fact of life.

Fourth*Information with facts is educational and insight to help each other.

Fifth*Never assume you know what anyone is thinking, one should always ask for his or her point of view and listen, then give yours.

As a moderater I stand for everyone`s opinion as long as it is constructive for the group, no one is above the forum. It is ok to disagree with another as long as it is done with respect and aplomb.

If a man cannot respect another`s opinion even though it differs from his he should step aside no bs.

A discussion is discourse among people with differing ideas and points of view related to the same subject.

The subject is a 4000 like flagship which a user pointed out that Linn can create that in many people in this forum believes in whether the starter agrees or not. No one should be emotional over an difference of opinion.

But it isn`t sensible to claim anyone knows what another individual is capable of or not building a highend MPC. The thread is what functions we would like to see in a post MPC 4000 if you like Linn or not is doesn`t matter to the rest of us.

So again I put my participant hat on until the thread goes sideways which I hope it don`t so WATCH IT!!!!!! Once again

I think that the Linn machine would be a great addition and if I am right Jahrome or Shaheed I would expect you acknowledge I told you so as I would you since you wanted to bet, ha, ha, ha.

I do agree with you Shaheed no need for insults over a drum machine and some rich dudes that program them or we will have to shut this down agree.

Plus glide does have a point that without Linn`s great sequencer the main strength of all mpcs most of us wouldn`t I think even be on this site. Linn sequencing innovation is something in my book should ever be taken lightly or disregarded.
Play on players.

A MPC 4000-like Flagship should have SAMPLE LIBRARIES for the KEYGROUP sampler like Kontakt and an easy to use folder access system.

Also a MPC 4000 like Flagship should have a sampler conversion system that can import any sample format including third party software sets.

Askia Shaheed wrote:Talking about gear is what I do. It's hilarious to see you get worked up over my choice of drum machine. As far as dropping beats...seek and you will find me.

I suspect your beats aren't up to much but feel free to post the links if you are confident in your abilities with the 'flagship'... I wont be searching them out as I have better things to do.

You obviously have very little respect for anyone other than yourself and your own views, and are basically just ignorant on a multitude of different levels. Do the words on the screen paint a true representation of the man in real life??

*WORD OF ADVICE TO LINN AND CO*

Don't set up a forum cause you'll have this clown hanging around like a bad smell!!!
