my pops been doing construction and carpentry for 30 years, I've picked up a few things. I can build some Ikea looking stuff if i wanted, lol.

yea sounds like the issue would be space. but if you've got it do it up, you're bound to find something useful. personally if someone dropped off 1000 records at my house with only a few being useful or listenable, i'd be pissed. but thats because i'm tight on space right now.

another thing is it kinda spoils the digging aspect of beat-making. it's kinda like punching in a unlock level code on a new game. but if you're not into digging then it sounds perfect. hope for the sake of your back you dont have to move them all by yourself haha

I down for digging, but the closest record store close to me is over an hour away, and its still not very good, just has alot of heavy metal stuff. there are plenty of ads that ar like 2$ records, and what not, im just looking for a kick off point. i have a good appreciation for music, so i doubt ill only find a dozen records out of a 1000 that i will like.

This is starting to annoy the hell out of me. If there's less than he said there was, just use that as an excuse to lower the price a lil bit. If he's not down, don't insist, just buy the records and get tha f*ck outta there.

I don't know where you are but record dealers and collectors are like vultures. Those records will NOT remain on the market for very long and there's been more than enough time for someone else to get them.
Even if you sell those at $1 each you're still making a nice profit.

I called the dude for a pick-up tomorrow, he said he has them no problem, but his mother is in the hospital up north so im expecting a call tomorrow when he gets back.

take some pictures of the ones with cool looking covers. hopfully you don't get stuck with heaps of molly hatchet and lionel richie, though....

sorry guys, but i dont think im going to be getting this yet, but its still available if anyone in south FL is interested. I decided to get an MPC1k first, i am picking one up sometime this week. I'm excited as hell to get it.

good price on thee 1 k, but deals on vinyl r hard 2 find........ especially 4 CHEAP..... good luck on ur 1 k kid............
