must be a way to make sequence changes on the mpc everytime ableton change scene,,this way we could program a specific sequence on the mpc for a specific scene in ableton,,then we also could send program change from ableton to a synth..

this way we will keep the groove of the mpc,and it will follow the scenes changes on ableton with the synth lines under program change

anyone have idea if its possible?

I slave ableton to the MPC so I'm not familiar with what can be done the other way around. Not sure if the mpc will respond to program changes in that manner but assuming it did, you would have to record the command into an ableton midi clip and it would only work with a midi clip (not an audio clip). I would guess that you would have a much easier time midi mapping a ableton clip to an mpc pad and recording that into your mpc sequence.

yes i just achieve this with the mpc as master,,sending cc from the akai sequence mapped into the specific scene in ableton

now i have the mpc as master from where i send midi clock/program change to synths/drummachine and triggering scenes with only the stuff that only can be (or work better on) ableton ,. mute/volume/fx tweaking are done on 16 ch on the mixer

then with the next seq function now i can jump between sequences that have their own scene each..then i can focus more into mixer tweaking.of course this is more a live set up than a studio recording one

working good so far
