Should I buy a 2000?

Yep my bad, I just found this out today

the jog wheel was actually the deal breaker when i insanely was pondering trading my xl for a 1k.

the thing just seems straight up flimsy on the new models. just didnt trust it. the funny thing is the older jog wheel has a softer less rigid feel but seem more durable at the same time.

I got the 1000 with the jjos and the 2000 classic. I will said the benefit of the 2000 classic is that you can get the 8 outs. The bigger pads are nice. I guess it just depends on what you trying to do.

Can someone help me out to find that 8MB Flash Rom!! I searched everywhere!!

your saying the 2000xl doesnt have a track mute feature? that true?

also, is the effects board for the XL an external or internal thing? are there low pass, band pass, and high pass filters on the xl without the FX board?

i saw the 3000 was mentioned too, as far as size goes, the 3000 is bigger that the xl huh?

XL had a Track-Mute + extra knob for the Track-Mute!

The effects board is a intern board, and must buy separately

3000 Are bigger than the XL!

There are one resonant low pass filter on each pad/sound without the effect board, but not high pass or other filters. With the FX board you get 2 effects you can set up which may include many effects at once. On the first effect you may want to have a high pass filter, distortion, a bit of auto-pan and a small amount of delay. On the second you may want to have chorus and a band filter. Additionally you have 2 reverbs, so you can have two different reverbs and two different multi-FX. That's it.
