Digital Out no signal

Im having problems getting a signal from my digital out on my mpc 2500. I can record in digitally fine, but the digital out is still not working, ive tried new coaxal, diffrent recievers and still nothing...i recently got an MBOX2 and i would like to record my music digital but its not recogizing it on PT either. Analog works fine but i was looking for the digital sound..... am i missing a setting or is it something else??

I had a similiar problem, make sure you have the latest drivers for your audio interface, also make sure that you set it to external spdif on pro tools. Go to Sessons>Hardware and it should be their. Also for the tracks make sure its input 9. Also press the R button on the tracks and record enable then play a track from the mpc to test the signal.

In PT you should set your REC IN to input 3&4 which are standard the digital stereo inputs.
1&2 are the analog inputs.

hopefully this works for you, in other daw's i dont know.
