which os has the "go to - by pad" locators?

in os2 and 2xl you can do this on audio tracks. hold shift and press any pad between 7 and 16 to store the current seq position to that pad.

some os1 versions had pad mode which could do something similar-except it worked globally for that pad.the os2 or xl version is much more practical.

wouldnt it be nice if the "note repeat" button was usable in this audio track / locate mode?

it would be good for nudging / repeating the pad hits that trigger the locate function, so like one guy was very recently asking for quantize increments in transport time jumps.

a bit like "natives' Traktor"
