CLICKING AFTER SAMPLES PLAY EVEN AFTER LATEST OS UPGRADE

sometimes that shit happens to me, juss put in back in ya wave editor, cut the end a lil bit shorter then b4 and it should stop doin it............then again thats only if it clicks at the end, thats the only problem i ever had and i would juss cut the wav shorter n it wouldnt pop nomore

I just made some loops on my mpc and theres no clicking i have the 1.5 os too. MAke sure that the volume levels are the same on the starting and end points if you have different levels you will hear the click.

yeah i always have that additional info option unchecked,i just think the os is mad buggy,they shouldnt release sumthin thats not ready

wtf i had no clicking until i said i didnt want to jinx myself. so the extra gunk at the end of some samples is back here too.

it is so annoying to have an idea ready to go, but no - first i gotta screw with the sample end points so i dont get weird rhythms throwing me off

Are you all talking about the sample having a click at the end in loop mode or one shot? Ever since upgrading to 1.05 that clicking after trimming a mono sample stopped for me.. I prolly just jinxed myself too by saying this.....But i have tested out the trim mode --did everything that was causing the clicks before and there has been no sign of it yet. If it starts again i am gonna straight up get rid of the 1000 and save up for the 3000.

now that i think about it, i rarely use sample loops at all. but whatever...one shots yeah

i figured out how to get around this, i havent upgraded OS yet though maybe that will fix it

if theres a drum sample I really want to use and I can't get it to not click, a way to get rid of it which takes a little extra time but works is to make it Note On instead of One Shot, and then just edit the duration in step edit mode to end after the drum and before the click, and you won't hear it

That gives the same results as trimming the sample and keeping one shot. If you trim the sample, you won't need to go into Step Edit, and it will fix all of the events.

If you are using Cool Edit/Audition turn off (Uncheck) the "Save extra non audio information" and that should help. It worked for me.

someone should call Akai US tech support.. They will check it out. When i called them about the clicking bug in 1.04 they told me they were gonna fix it. A week later they relesed OS 1.05 which fixed it-- well at least so far on my machine. Anyways if its a problem and it is affecting your workfllow then you should get in touch with them.

When you start to save a wav file it's in the bottom left corner of the window.
