JJ OS???

Where can I cop the JJ OS system for the MPC 2500? How much does it cost and can I install it myself without professional attention? I'm a new user to the MPC world and hear that the JJ OS is a better and easier way for production...

Warning: this is not normal I'm just in a nice mood.


NOTE: THIS IS ONLY THE FREE VERSION(Which is way better than Akai's standard OS any day). You will need to purchase the other available versions for the additional functions.

Hey, I tried this website for the JJ OS and now I have problems with starting up my mpc and cant get past the part where it says "128MB Installed". It wont get me to the main page. Basically, it seems like this online downloading program **** up my mpc! How can I fix this problem or will Akai service this shit!

I had the same problem. Not when I first installed the OS, but when I tried to start up my MPC with a CF card in the slot that was formatted for a Roland SP 404.

Really strange stuff.

It started up fine when I took out the CF card from the slot.

Otherwise try holding the ERASE button when you start up your MPC to reset it.
