MPC1000 RAM and CF card Recommendations

Bought some RAM from Dabs.com:

no i didn't build one. i'm waiting just like everbodyelse. if I got the specs yea I could make one ,but it would eventually cost me $200.00. I'll stick
with $29. on a serious note, I've finally found one that works, (Ram).

if you guys come across one this works for sure . It's called a

i jus thought id mention for the uk heads...www.mymemory.co.uk have cheap cf cards...i bought a 512mb kingston for jus under £22 with shipping

I purchased 256mb so-dimm ram pc 133 144pin. I went home and installed it and received an error when booting up mpc. It first ran a test on the ram then ran an error message. i was wondering if anyone here encountered this error?

read through this thread or do a search. that happened to other people. see what they had to say about it. Me, i would take it back for another one or a different brand.
